Videos created during Covid-19 lockdown
Below are a couple of examples of videos I created, edited and published during lockdown for business and personal purposes.
The Mobile Industry: Keeping us connected during COVID-19
May 2020
I was watching the Global Citizen - Together at Home Concert and in-between performances, big corporate companies had short, simple videos showing their commitments and support during the Covid-19 pandemic.
As an advocate for mobile technology, it made me think we, at the GSMA, can create something like those videos to showcase the amazing impact mobile operators are having at this time.
At 11.30pm, I jumped out of bed, grabbed my laptop and using the extensive library of footage we have, storyboarded and edited this video.
During lockdown, I’ve been unable to be overly creative or have a lot of time to edit, this project definitely supported that itch as well deliver a business need of providing examples of great work across the industry.
The video was promoted across company channels and given to mobile operators to post on their own social media channels.
What are the numbers that matter to you? - Our Covid-19 Journey
June 2020
This is OUR lockdown experience.
Last week (June 1st) marked 70 days since we have been at home together, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
As a young family, trying to work and look after each other, it has had some highs and it some lows. We started to film some bits each day and towards the end realised we had quite a lot of footage.
As we start to think about the future, we wanted to create a reminder of how it really was for us. A reminder for us when we think back to this time and something for the kids to look back on in years to come.
We've been consumed by the stats and the data but these are the numbers that really mater to us.
What are the numbers that you'll remember when this is all over?
